Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Business Development Executive at Classplus. The Business Development Executive will identify and qualify new business opportunities, generate and follow up on leads, and conduct outreach via calls, emails, and virtual meetings to onboard educators and coaching businesses. The role involves presenting Classplus solutions, understanding client needs, creating tailored proposals, and supporting the closure of deals. The Business Development Executive will manage and nurture a portfolio of educator accounts, ensure a smooth onboarding experience, and collaborate with cross-functional teams such as marketing, product, and customer success. The role also includes tracking sales metrics, maintaining accurate records in CRM tools, and providing market feedback to help refine go-to-market strategies.
Qualifications
- Strong new business development and lead generation skills, with the ability to build and manage a robust sales pipeline.
- Solid account management and client relationship-building abilities to ensure long-term educator success.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including clear verbal and written communication and confident virtual presentation skills.
- Understanding of business and sales fundamentals, including negotiation, objection handling, and basic revenue metrics.
- 1–3 years of experience in sales, business development, or inside sales (EdTech or SaaS experience is an advantage).
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, target-driven, remote environment with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency with CRM and productivity tools (e.g., Salesforce/HubSpot, spreadsheets, video conferencing platforms).
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
