Primary title: Business Development Executive
Role & Responsibilities
- Identify and qualify new B2B opportunities through outbound prospecting, referrals and events to build a healthy sales pipeline.
- Conduct targeted outreach (cold calls, emails, LinkedIn) to schedule discovery calls and product demos with decision-makers.
- Manage end-to-end sales cycles: prepare proposals, negotiate commercial terms and close deals to achieve revenue targets.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline updates and weekly sales forecasts to drive predictable revenue outcomes.
- Collaborate with marketing and delivery teams to customise solutions, prepare client pitches and ensure smooth onboarding.
- Represent the company at on-site client meetings and industry events to strengthen relationships and generate repeat business.
Skills & Qualifications Must-Have
- Proven experience in B2B sales with a track record of quota attainment
- Hands-on experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce or HubSpot
- Strong outbound skills: cold calling and lead generation
- Demonstrated pipeline management and sales forecasting capability
- Consultative selling approach and proven negotiation/closing ability
- Willingness to work on-site in India and attend client meetings as required
Preferred
- Experience in career services, HR tech or recruitment-focused sales
- Familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator for prospecting
- Comfort with Microsoft Excel for reporting and analysis
