Job Description

An Admission/Educational Counsellor plays a pivotal role in educational institutions by guiding

prospective students through the admissions process. They serve as the primary point of contact for

individuals seeking admission, providing them with information, assistance, and support to facilitate their

enrollment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Student Guidance: Provide comprehensive guidance to prospective students regarding

admission requirements, application procedures, academic programs, and campus life.

2. Admissions Process Management: Manage the entire admissions process, including

application review, evaluation, and decision-making in accordance with institutional policies

and standards.

3. Student Engagement: Develop and maintain relationships with prospective students, parents,

high school counselors, and other stakeholders through various communication channels,

including in-person meetings, phone calls, emails, and virtual platforms.

4. Application Support: Assist students with completing application forms, preparing required

documents, and submitting materials within specified deadlines.

5. Interviews and Assessments: Conduct interviews, assessments, or informational sessions with

prospective students to evaluate their suitability for admission and provide personalized

guidance.

6. Admission Decision Communication: Communicate admission decisions to applicants and

provide feedback or guidance as needed, ensuring transparency and clarity throughout the

process.

7. Data Management: Maintain accurate records of applicant information, correspondence, and

admissions statistics using relevant databases or CRM systems.

8. Collaboration: Collaborate with academic departments, administrative staff, and other

stakeholders to streamline processes, resolve issues, and enhance the overall admissions

experience.

9. Training and Development: Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and institutional

policies related to admissions counseling, and participate in professional development

opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

QUALIFICATION: 12th/Diploma/Graduation/Post graduation degree

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate and engage with diverse

populations.

Ready to work from office, Timing - 10 AM to 7 PM

Excellent organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple tasks and deadlines

efficiently.
