We are looking for a result-driven, strategic Business Development Executive to spearhead our lead generation and client acquisition efforts. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying high-value opportunities across global freelancing platforms and professional networks, nurturing relationships, and driving agency growth.
The ideal candidate possesses a mix of technical platform expertise, impeccable communication skills, and a proven track record of converting cold prospects into long-term clients.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead Generation & Bidding
- Platform Management: Actively monitor, bid, and secure high-quality projects on platforms including Upwork, Fiverr, and LinkedIn.
- Strategic Pitching: Write highly customized, persuasive proposals and cover letters that address specific client pain points (avoiding generic templates).
- Outbound Outreach: Leverage LinkedIn Sales Navigator and modern outreach tools to identify and connect with decision-makers in target global markets (US, UK, Australia, etc.).
2. Client Coordination & Relationship Management
- Primary Liaison: Serve as the initial point of contact for inbound leads, responding promptly and professionally to inquiries.
- Requirement Gathering: Conduct initial discovery calls to understand client needs, project scopes, and business goals.
- Team Alignment: Coordinate smoothly with internal technical and creative teams to ensure project feasibility before final commitment.
3. Deal Negotiation & Closing
- Value-Based Selling: Present agency services dynamically, focusing on ROI and value rather than just cost.
- Contract Negotiation: Handle pricing discussions, objections, and contract terms confidently to maximize deal value while maintaining healthy margins.
- Closing: Drive the sales pipeline from initial contact to signed contract and successful onboarding.
Required Experience & Skills
- Experience: 1–3 years of proven experience as a BDE or Bidder, specifically within an IT, digital marketing, or e-commerce agency setup.
- Platform Mastery: Demonstrated success in generating high-ticket leads and managing profiles on Upwork (Enterprise/Expert-Vetted ecosystems), Fiverr, and LinkedIn.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to confidently pitch to international clients.
- Negotiation: Strong persuasion and negotiation skills with a deep understanding of how to handle price resistance.
- Analytical Mindset: Ability to analyze project briefs quickly, estimate timelines/budgets accurately, and identify high-conversion opportunities.
