Job Description

Industry & Sector: B2B ecommerce and digital trade enablement serving manufacturers, distributors and wholesale retailers across India. We support end-to-end channel expansion—onboarding, catalog syndication, channel partner acquisition and enterprise selling—focused on driving high-value, repeat revenue.

Primary title (portal-optimised): B2B Business Development Executive (ECommerce)

Location & Workplace: On-site — India. Regular travel to client locations and trade hubs may be required.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Prospect, qualify and convert new B2B accounts (manufacturers, distributors, wholesalers) across Indian markets using targeted outreach and relationship selling.
  • Build and manage a structured sales pipeline; forecast deals, track progress, and consistently meet monthly/quarterly revenue targets.
  • Deliver solution-focused product demos, prepare commercial proposals, lead contract negotiations, and close deals end-to-end.
  • Coordinate onboarding and implementation with operations, catalogue, and account teams to ensure timely go-live and initial revenue recognition.
  • Monitor competitor activity and marketplace trends; surface client feedback to product and marketing to refine offerings and pricing.
  • Maintain up-to-date CRM records, produce regular sales reports, and collaborate with leadership on territory strategy.

  • Experience with Indian B2B marketplaces (IndiaMART, TradeIndia, Amazon Business)

Qualifications & Fit

  • Proven track record in B2B sales within ecommerce, marketplaces, or distribution channels (success closing mid-market or enterprise accounts).
  • Comfortable working on-site in India with regional travel; ability to manage complex stakeholder engagements.
  • Strong commercial acumen, goal orientation, and experience using CRM-driven workflows to manage quota.
