Key Responsibilities
  • Identify, develop, and manage new business opportunities within the IT domain.
  • Generate leads through various channels such as Upwork, LinkedIn, email campaigns, and networking.
  • Manage client communications and nurture long-term professional relationships.
  • Understand client requirements and propose tailored IT solutions.
  • Prepare proposals, quotations, and presentations for potential clients.
  • Work closely with the technical team to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and competitors.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4+ years of experience in Business Development / Sales within an IT company.
  • Hands-on experience with freelancing platforms such as Upwork and LinkedIn.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Proven record of lead generation and deal closure in the IT domain.
  • Strong understanding of IT services like web/app development, cloud, or custom software solutions.
  • Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of working independently.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience in B2B sales and international client acquisition.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and sales tracking systems.
  • Awareness of current IT market trends and emerging technologies.
