About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic and drivenBusiness Development Associateto join our growing team at 12 Minutes to CLAT. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving student enrollments, building strong relationships with prospects, and ensuring every potential learner clearly understands the value of our programs. This role involves direct interaction with students, parents, and internal teams to create a seamless sales experience and contribute to organizational growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Management & Conversion:
- Handle incoming leads from marketing campaigns, CRM, or outreach activities; follow up promptly and convert them into enrollments.
- Student Interaction & Counselling:
- Conduct one-on-one sessions with students and parents to understand their preparation goals and guide them toward suitable courses or programs.
- Collaboration with Marketing & Operations Teams:
- Work closely with marketing to align on campaigns, messaging, and promotional strategies; coordinate with operations to ensure smooth onboarding and student handholding.
- Reporting & CRM Management:
- Maintain detailed lead and sales data in CRM systems; generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports on leads, conversions, and feedback.
- Feedback Collection & Market Insights:
- Regularly interact with students to collect feedback, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to the management team for improving sales strategies and offerings.
- Event & Initiative Support:
- Participate in student engagement initiatives, webinars, and events that contribute to lead generation and brand visibility.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum: Graduate in any discipline
- Preferred: MBA or Postgraduate degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
- Experience:24 years of experience in sales, counseling, or business development, preferably in the education or edtech sector
Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong understanding of CRM tools and lead management processes
- Target-oriented and self-motivated with a problem-solving attitude
- Ability to build rapport and trust with students and parents
- Team player with a proactive approach to coordination and follow-ups
Preferred Experience:
Prior experience in the education or edtech industry
Experience with student counselling or academic sales
