The Role

This is not a pure sales role. You are PROWESS's first impression — the person who finds the right clients, earns their trust, and opens the door to work we're proud of. You'll act as a studio ambassador and work closely with studio leadership to execute our new business strategy end-to-end.

What You'll Own

• Pipeline development: Build and manage a qualified pipeline of leads across startups, D2C brands, and agencies through LinkedIn, cold email, referrals, and networking.

• Outreach & prospecting: Research and identify the right contacts — founders, CMOs, brand managers — and initiate conversations that feel relevant, not generic.

• Studio representation: Be the confident, articulate voice of PROWESS in all new business conversations — fluent in our capabilities, process, and value.

• Discovery & scoping: Lead discovery calls, understand client briefs deeply, and work with the internal team to define scope, timelines, and deliverables.

• Pitch & proposal development: Own the creation of proposals, credentials decks, pitch presentations, and quotations — from first draft to final sign-off.

• Market intelligence: Stay current on industry trends, award-winning work, competitor moves, and emerging opportunities to sharpen every client conversation.

• Studio events & visibility: Support outreach around studio events, screenings, and content that positions PROWESS as a destination for great creative work.

• Pipeline hygiene: Maintain rigorous CRM records, lead trackers, and pipeline reports. Every conversation logged, every follow-up on time.

• Conversion support: Work with studio leadership to close deals, negotiate terms, and ensure a smooth creative team handoff at onboarding.

• Performance tracking: Track your own metrics — outreach volume, pipeline value, conversion rate — and iterate based on what the data shows.

Who We're Looking For

English Proficiency — Non-Negotiable

Fluent, professional English — written and spoken — is not a preference, it is a baseline. You are PROWESS's first voice to founders, CMOs, and senior decision-makers. We expect you to command a high-stakes client call, write a proposal that closes deals, and hold a room with confidence. Anything less is not the standard we hold our creative work to, and it cannot be the standard we hold our people to. English proficiency must be 10/10.

• 0–2 years in business development, sales, or client servicing — ideally in a creative, design, or marketing environment.

• A genuine passion for branding, design, and creative strategy. You don't need to make it, but you need to understand and care about it.

• Comfortable with cold outreach, disciplined follow-up, and rejection — without becoming pushy or impersonal.

• A natural networker: confident striking up conversations with senior decision-makers and building genuine, long-term relationships.

• Highly organised with strong pipeline management instincts — you know where every lead stands at all times.

• Proficiency with Notion, Google Sheets, LinkedIn, and email. CRM experience is a plus.

• Self-starting and ideas-driven — you spot the opportunity and move without being told.

Bonus Points

• Prior experience in a creative agency, branding studio, or marketing consultancy.

• An existing network within the Indian startup, D2C, or brand management ecosystem.

• Experience contributing to high-quality pitch decks and credentials presentations.
