Job Summary

Kummarod Technologies Private Limited is seeking a motivated and results-oriented Business Development Associate with 23 years of experience in IT services sales. The ideal candidate should have hands-on exposure or strong working knowledge of RPA solutions, Power BI, Application Support, APM, and related digital services, and be capable of driving new business opportunities and customer engagements.

Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & Sales
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities through market research, networking, cold calling, and lead follow-ups.
  • Engage with prospective customers to understand their business needs and technology challenges.
  • Pitch and promote Kummarod Technologies services including RPA solutions, Power BI & analytics, application support, APM, and managed services.
  • Prepare and present proposals, presentations, and solution documents aligned to client requirements.
  • Support the complete sales lifecycle from lead qualification to deal closure.
Client Engagement & Coordination
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with internal technical and delivery teams for solutioning, estimations, and demos.
  • Participate in customer meetings, requirement discussions, and solution walkthroughs.
  • Act as a single point of contact between customers and internal teams during pre-sales stages.
Market & Account Management
  • Track market trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies in RPA, analytics, and application services.
  • Maintain and update sales pipelines, forecasts, and CRM systems.
  • Support account growth through upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
Required Skills & QualificationsMandatory
  • 23 years of experience in Business Development, IT Services Sales, or Pre-Sales.
  • Working knowledge or strong understanding of:
  • RPA tools (UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism conceptual/functional level)
  • Power BI / BI & Analytics solutions
  • Application Support, Managed Services, or APM concepts
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to understand technical solutions and articulate business value to customers.
  • Experience in proposal preparation, RFIs, and RFPs is an added advantage.
Good to Have
  • Exposure to enterprise or mid-market customers (BFSI, Manufacturing, Telecom, Healthcare, etc.).
  • Familiarity with SDLC, ITIL, or managed service delivery models.
  • Experience using CRM tools such as Zoho, Salesforce, or HubSpot.
