Role Overview

We are looking for a driven Business Development Associate to own the top of our sales funnel. You will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and nurturing leads across our product and service lines. This is a hands-on role where you will directly impact pipeline growth by turning cold prospects into qualified conversations for our client-facing team.

The ideal candidate has real experience running outbound campaigns, managing CRM pipelines, and understands how B2B services or SaaS products are sold to financial institutions or professional services firms.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Generation

Research and identify prospective clients including fund managers, asset managers, family offices, and financial intermediaries across target geographies.

Execute outbound campaigns via email, LinkedIn, and other channels to generate qualified leads for Fundtec, Unefund, and Tychi Portal.

Build and maintain targeted prospect lists using databases, industry directories, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and other research tools.

Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and market signals that create business development opportunities.

Lead Management & Nurturing

Own and maintain the lead pipeline in the CRM, ensuring accurate tagging, status updates, and follow-up scheduling.

Qualify inbound and outbound leads against defined criteria (budget, authority, need, timeline) before handing off to senior team members.

Design and manage drip sequences and follow-up workflows to keep prospects engaged over longer sales cycles.

Track conversion metrics across funnel stages and provide weekly pipeline reports with actionable insights.

Collaboration & Enablement

Work closely with the marketing team to align campaigns, content, and messaging with lead generation efforts.

Coordinate with the client services and product teams to stay current on Fundtec Group offerings and value propositions.

Contribute to pitch materials, one-pagers, and outreach templates tailored to specific prospect segments.

Participate in webinars, conferences, and industry events as a representative of the Fundtec Group.

Requirements

Must-Have

Minimum 2 years of experience in lead generation, business development, or inside sales within SaaS, fintech, or professional/financial services.

Demonstrated ability to run outbound campaigns and manage a lead pipeline end-to-end.

Hands-on experience with CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho, or similar).

Proficiency with LinkedIn Sales Navigator or equivalent prospecting tools.

Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Based in Kolkata or Raipur, with willingness to work from office as required.

Nice-to-Have

Familiarity with fund administration, investment funds, or capital markets.

Experience selling or generating leads for B2B technology platforms.

Working knowledge of email automation tools (Mailchimp, Lemlist, Apollo, or similar).

Exposure to the offshore financial services ecosystem (BVI, Cayman, Luxembourg, etc.).

Experience with data enrichment tools and lead scoring methodologies.
