Role Overview

As a Business Development Associate (BDA) at WebGo Academy, you will play a key role in driving revenue growth and expanding our user base. You will identify opportunities, engage leads, and convert them into loyal learners and partners. This is a high-impact, client-facing role ideal for someone with strong communication skills, a strategic mindset, and a passion for EdTech.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect and generate leads through digital outreach, networking, events, and referrals.
  • Understand customer needs (students, educators, corporates) and recommend appropriate courses and services.
  • Deliver compelling product demos and sales pitches tailored to customer profiles.
  • Negotiate contracts, close sales, and achieve monthly revenue targets.
  • Maintain relationships with existing clients to drive renewals, upselling, and referrals.
  • Collaborate with marketing, academic, and product teams to optimize offerings based on feedback.
  • Keep track of market trends, competitor activities, and customer behavior to inform strategies.
  • Manage leads and pipelines using CRM tools with regular reporting and follow-ups.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in any field (Business, Marketing, Education, or related fields preferred).
  • 12 years of experience in sales, business development, or customer-facing roles.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
  • Results-driven with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Comfortable with data, reporting, and using CRM tools (Zoho, HubSpot, etc. is a plus).
  • Interest in the education sector and familiarity with EdTech trends.
