Axension AI is a Hyderabad-based AI company building procurement intelligence agents for Indian pharma manufacturers. Our agents plug into Tally, SAP, and ERPs to automate COA compliance, supplier risk monitoring, invoice matching, and second-source discovery without touching the cloud. What This Role Actually Is
This is a pure field and hustle role. You will walk into pharma manufacturing plants, API companies, and formulation units across Hyderabad (Patancheru, Genome Valley, Nacharam, IDA Pashamylaram) and surrounding areas. Your one job: get the Purchase Head, QC Head, or CFO to agree to a 45-minute demo with our founder.
You will not be closing deals. You will be opening doors.

What You'll Do
- Accompany the founder on direct walkins to pharma plants and head offices and learn the pitch from the ground up
- Independently visit pharma companies, meet procurement and quality departments, explain what Axension AI does at a basic level, and book demo meetings
- Follow up persistently via phone, WhatsApp, and LinkedIn until a meeting is confirmed
- Log every interaction, contact, and lead into the CRM (same day, no exceptions)
- Build a pipeline of 15–20 qualified prospects at any given time
- Research target companies before visits know their size, ERP system, and pain points before you walk in
- Report daily: visits done, meetings booked, follow-ups pending
You Are the Right Person If
- You have 2–4 years of field sales experience, ideally in pharma, life sciences, API, or medical devices
- You have physically visited pharma plants before and know how to get past the front desk
- You are comfortable talking to senior people — Purchase Heads, QC Managers, CFOs — without freezing
- You are hungry to move from selling tablets or equipment into the technology space
- You take rejection normally and go back the next day anyway
- You are based in Hyderabad and own a two-wheeler or have reliable transport
- Your spoken English and Telugu/Hindi are both confident
You Are Not the Right Person If
- You need leads handed to you before you move
- You expect to work primarily from a laptop
- You've only done inside sales or telecalling
- You will vanish after two walkins don't convert
- You think CRM updates are optional
What You'll Learn
This role will give you genuine exposure to enterprise SaaS sales in the pharma sector. You will sit in on founder pitches, understand how AI procurement tools are sold to mid-size and large pharma companies, and build a network inside an industry worth ₹4 lakh crore in India alone. If you perform, there is a clear path to Senior BDE and eventually Account Executive as we scale.
Compensation
- Fixed: ₹20,000 – ₹32,000/month (based on experience)
- Travel Allowance: ₹5,000 – ₹8,000/month
- Incentive: ₹500 – ₹1,000 per qualified demo booked and attended
- Conversion Bonus: ₹3,000 – ₹10,000 per client that signs a pilot
- No cap on incentives
Requirements
- 2–4 years field sales experience (pharma, life sciences, or B2B preferred)
- Based in Hyderabad — this is a non-negotiable
- Own smartphone with WhatsApp and ability to use basic CRM tools
- Willingness to travel within Telangana and occasionally to other pharma hubs
- 10+2 minimum; degree preferred but not mandatory if experience is strong
