We are seeking a proactive Business Development & Account Manager with a proven track record in new business development and account management. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience and will be responsible for building strong relationships with new clients, growing existing accounts, and ensuring client success and compliance with industry regulations.
Roles and Responsibilities
- New Client Development and Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong professional relationships with new clients, particularly in school districts and healthcare organizations.
- Account Growth: Successfully manage and grow accounts by understanding client needs, providing exceptional service, and identifying opportunities for expansion.
- Project Coordination: Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between internal teams and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment and results in projects involving school districts and other clients.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with company leadership on various initiatives and project deadlines, contributing insights and operational support to achieve organizational goals.
- Client Success & Compliance: Consistently prioritize client success, ensuring high standards of service delivery and compliance with industry regulations.
- Performance Metrics Management: Regularly analyze and report on metrics related to staff performance and client relations, utilizing data to drive improvement strategies.
- Market Development: Identify and pursue growth opportunities within the tri-state markets, leveraging industry knowledge and relationships to expand our footprint.
Skills Required
- A proven track record in new business development and account management, particularly with U.S.-based healthcare Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and hospital systems.
- A deep understanding of the competitive landscape in the healthcare and education sectors, with established relationships that can be leveraged for business growth.
- Extensive experience with Vendor Management Systems (VMS) and experience in acquiring and managing new hospital accounts and other healthcare service accounts.
- The ability to think creatively about solutions, develop strategic plans, and execute on initiatives that drive results.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, along with exceptional phone and in-person etiquette.
