Reports to: Territory Manager

Role Summary:

The Business Associate is responsible for driving sales growth by developing new business opportunities, managing existing customer relationships, and supporting channel partners within the assigned territory. The role focuses on lead generation, customer engagement, order conversion, payment collection, and achieving sales targets while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key Requirements:

Business Development

• Identify and acquire new customers within the assigned territory.
• Generate business leads and convert opportunities into sales.
• Arrange customer meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations.

Sales & Customer Management

• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
• Visit customers regularly to identify new business opportunities.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate commercial terms, and secure orders.
• Achieve assigned sales and revenue targets.

Channel Partner Management

• Develop and maintain relationships with dealers, distributors, and channel partners.
• Identify and onboard new dealers and channel partners.
• Conduct regular performance reviews with channel partners.

Order & Payment Management

• Coordinate product samples, catalogues, and customer documentation.
• Ensure timely payment collection and follow up on outstanding dues.
• Monitor security deposits, tenders, and customer documentation.

Customer Support

• Handle customer queries and complaints promptly.
• Coordinate product inspections and provide post-sales support.
• Ensure customer retention through excellent service.

Reporting & Market Intelligence

• Maintain sales reports, call reports, and CRM/OSC updates.
• Collect market intelligence on competitors, pricing, and customer requirements.
• Prepare periodic sales and performance reports.

Desired Candidate:

• Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
• 2-4 years of experience in B2B sales, channel sales, direct sales, or business development.
• Experience in industrial products, manufacturing, safety equipment, engineering products, building materials, or related industries will be preferred.
• Exposure to dealer and distributor management is an added advantage.
