Job Description

Job Title : Business Architect – Application Portfolio Analyst

Work timings : 3pm – 11pm IST would be preferred, but flexible for the right candidate.

Budget : 40-45 LPA

Notice period : Immediate to 30 days

This role drives the day-to-day execution of Application Portfolio Management (APM) and Rationalization activities. The Business Architect will be hands-on in building and maintaining the enterprise Application Inventory in Orbus, running business and technical health application assessments, and supporting the Application Rationalization processes. The role requires advanced working knowledge of Orbus Infinity (iServer), familiarization with ServiceNow (SAM / Contracts modules) and strong facilitation skills to engage stakeholders across IT Software Asset Management, Procurement, and the Business.

Expectations:

  • · Build and continuously update the application inventory in Orbus
  • · Drive data duplication and normalization processes to ensure consistent, complete and accurate application metadata
  • · Build advanced capability models in Orbis Infinity to align applications to business functions
  • · Execute business fit and technical health surveys and analyze results
  • · Identify functional overlap, redundancy, and consolidation opportunities between applications
  • · Proactively drive rationalization analysis, outcomes and data quality
  • · Create custom Power BI dashboards for rationalization metrics, forecasts, savings and portfolio insights
  • · Facilitate stakeholder collaboration spaces using SharePoint for Application Rationalization activities

Core Competencies:

· Expert in Orbus Infinity Administration: advanced metamodel administration, object and attribute configuration, relationship building, de-duplication, data normalization· Experienced User of the Flow Designer to automate and orchestrate processes· Experienced Power BI User for creating custom reportsand dashboards· Strong Problem Solving with a focus on data integrity and consistency

Qualifications

  • · Proficiency in SharePoint content and workflow development
  • · Familiarity with ServiceNow (contract, usage, and license data extraction)
  • · Strong skills in requirements gathering and stakeholder communication.
  • · Proficiency in Power Automate is a plus

Education:

Bachelor's Degree is preferred or experience equal to.
