Your Role And Responsibilities
About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Application Engineer with experience in analytics to build and deliver data-driven solutions using IBM Apptio platform. You will work on translating complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
This role operates in a highly collaborative Agile environment and partners closely with product managers, UX designers, customers, and cross-functional engineering teams. Your contributions will directly impact customer success by enabling better decision-making around IT investments and financial management.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise
Required Skills & Experience
- 2–4 years of experience with BI/analytics tools (e.g., IBM Apptio, Tableau, Power BI), preferably in roles such as Business Analyst, Consultant, or Technical Analyst
- Experience delivering end-to-end BI or data solutions
- Strong understanding of data modelling (relational and dimensional)
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Experience working with large datasets and performing data validation/manipulation
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Strong collaboration and communication skills in cross-functional environments
Preferred Technical And Professional Experience

- Experience with IBM Apptio or similar financial/IT analytics platforms
- Proficiency in SQL and working with relational databases (e.g., MySQL)
- Knowledge of ETL processes (data mapping, extraction, transformation, loading)
- Experience with Python or other programming languages
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts and BI architecture
- Knowledge of Finance / IT Finance concepts (budgeting, forecasting, cost management)
- Familiarity with IT infrastructure concepts (cloud, servers, storage, virtualization)
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions/ Jenkins
- Exposure to Gen AI tools
- Ability to simplify complex problems into actionable solutions
- Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
