Summary
As a Business Architect, a typical day involves identifying opportunities that can bring measurable value to the organization by thoroughly assessing the existing business environment. Business Analyst will be working with Treasury users and need to define the requirements specifications, create solution options to business problems & engage with the Project delivery teams on ongoing basis- Responsible for extensive data analysis and modelling for understanding the business and then raising the requirements for the technology team. The selected candidate is expected to be responsible for all the Business analysis activities, business operations and deliverables on the assigned project/business outcomes.
This role requires capturing high-level requirements and defining effective business solutions that align with strategic goals. The Business Architect translates complex business needs into technology-enabled solutions and operational frameworks. Additionally, the role supports organizational transformation by developing comprehensive business cases and providing guidance throughout the implementation of critical initiatives, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and fostering continuous improvement.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- The person will be working as a Business Analyst under Agile- Scrum methodology framework and will be responsible for building effective relationships with business stakeholders to drive forward the Secured Funding deliverables.
- Liaise with existing product SME s for all the work related to Securitization deals like deal onboarding into NatWest applications, testing & reporting of such deals.
- Support business Users to identify eligible loans for securitization and development of SQL-queries and reports which will be provided to internal Treasury users, ensuring the timeliness, accuracy, and integrity of securitization data related to residential / commercial mortgages loans and other assets classes.
- Liaise with Technology for the front to back delivery across Treasury to optimize identified solution.
- Prepare User Stories, with detailed requirements using JIRA
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Facilitate communication between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure clarity and alignment.
- Drive the development and refinement of business processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Mentor junior team members by sharing knowledge and best practices to support their professional growth.

- Proven application of business analysis tools and techniques
- A good understanding of Agile values, principles and methodologies with experience of working within an Agile environment
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to your peers and management level colleagues
- Good Working knowledge of SQL.
- Expertise in data analysis using MS-Excel.
- Knowledge on using JIRA and confluence.
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate business processes and identify improvement opportunities.
- Excellent communication skills to articulate complex business concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
- Experience in developing business cases and supporting strategic decision-making.
- Ability to translate business needs into technology-enabled solutions and operational models.
- Skilled in stakeholder management and facilitating cross-functional collaboration.
- Investment banking knowledge - An understanding of investment banking products and how an Investment Bank operates, especially how Treasury operates. Should have good front-to-back cross functional process knowledge within an investment bank.
- Securitization: Should be well versed with how Securitization for RMBS/Corporate/SME Loans operates in the Treasury domain.
- Assets : Should be well versed with the Residential Mortgages and Commercial products like Facilities, Revolving Loans, especially, how they operate in UK and European Market.
- Regulatory Reporting: Prior experience with regulations like BoE, CBI pertaining to Treasury Securitizations derivate products or other asset classes is preferred. Knowledge in ESMA reporting in new defined STS template is also preferred, not mandatory.
Additional Information
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Business Requirements Analysis.
- This position is based at our Gurugram office.
