Teamware Solutions is seeking a proficient Business Analyst with Identity and Access Management (IAM) experience to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions within our security domain. You'll play a critical role in gathering, analyzing, and documenting requirements for IAM initiatives, ensuring robust security, compliance, and efficient access controls across our enterprise.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document detailed business, functional, and non-functional requirements for Identity and Access Management (IAM) projects.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders across various departments to understand their access needs and security concerns.
- Conduct current state analysis of existing IAM processes and systems, identifying gaps and areas for improvement.
- Develop process flows, use cases, user stories, and other documentation for IAM solutions, including Identity Governance, Access Management, Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and Privileged Access Management (PAM).
- Collaborate closely with technical teams (architects, developers, QA) to ensure requirements are clearly understood and accurately translated into technical designs.
- Support the testing phase by reviewing test cases, validating solutions against requirements, and assisting with user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Assist in the creation of training materials and provide support during the rollout of new IAM functionalities.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in IAM and cybersecurity.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst with a focus on Identity and Access Management (IAM) projects.
Skills Required:
- Strong understanding of IAM concepts and technologies, including Identity Governance and Administration (IGA), Access Management (AM), Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and Privileged Access Management (PAM).
- Experience in gathering, analyzing, and documenting detailed business and technical requirements for complex IT projects.
- Proficiency in creating various documentation artifacts such as BRDs, FSDs, use cases, and process flow diagrams.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Strong facilitation and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles and data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with specific IAM vendor solutions (e.g., Okta, SailPoint, CyberArk, Ping Identity, Microsoft Entra ID/Azure AD).
- Relevant certifications in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) or Cybersecurity (e.g., CompTIA Security+).
- Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their IAM services.
- Experience in regulated industries (e.g., finance, healthcare).
