Job Description

Viaplus is looking for a dynamic seasoned expert in business analysis with an inbuilt extra-mile mindset to be the stakeholder liaison for our product engineering environment. The role will focus on business engagement, understanding and documenting the processes, project management for our business analysis team. This role demands a proactive individual envisioning the roadmap of organizational success besides helping to accomplish customer satisfaction.

Job Profile: Business Analyst

Experience: 12 -18 yrs

Job Responsibilities:

  • The successful candidate will be working on building new modules/ functional enhancements of our core tolling application
  • Develops 360 view about the product features and contribute to achieve milestones in product road map
  • Should be owning the respective feature enhancement from functional point of view throughout the life cycle of the project
  • Take full responsibility for a business process analysis within a significant segment of an organization where the advice given and decisions made will have measurable impacts on the profitability or effectiveness of the organization.
  • Define strategies, draw up requirements specifications, conduct feasibility studies, produce high-level and detailed business models, prepare business cases, oversee development of and implement solutions
  • Analyzing business processes for various product lines especially for various derivatives products-Forwards, Futures and Options
  • Writing product feature specifications/Epics/User Stories and get them reviewed and approved with involved stakeholders
  • Serves as the conduit between the customer community (internal and external customers) and the product development teams through which requirements flow
  • Conduct investigations for strategy studies, requirements specifications and feasibility studies
  • Define, plan and justify (in business terms) project to develop/implement automated and non-automated components of new or changed processes
  • identify alternative solutions, assess feasibility and recommend new approaches, typically seeking to exploit technology components and/or fill technology gaps
  • Ability to have a broad view of program objectives and organizational culture and processes
  • Simplify concepts/explanations and take responsibility to bring all project stakeholders on to the same page

Skill Set:

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills. skills and team work
  • Should have 12 – 18 years of experience as Business Analyst in large enterprise environment preferably in banking, finance or transportation domain
  • Expertise in Business Writing, Business Process Flow, Business Process Modeling, Business Analysis and Testing various methodologies.
  • Experience in handling BA teams and design the roadmap in the operational delivery of work within a prescribed work mandate.
  • Business requirements and required systems changes are reflected in a well-built, detailed, and effective development Plan
  • An effective team leader with proven abilities in leading teams during the project phase, training & guiding team members and enabling knowledge sharing among the team
  • Experience in facilitating Joint Requirement Planning (JRP) sessions with Business User Groups, conducting Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions with IT Groups and Conflict Management with Project team members.
  • Be recognized as possessing broad business application, knowledge to challenge system / application design and to identify risks / gaps with options to resolve
  • Good in setting up and use of requirement management tools like SPIRA Team, TFS
  • Experience in Agile Business analysis, understanding of product backlog, writing requirements in the form of user stories
  • Should have experience in building wireframes/mock-ups and understanding of usability concepts
  • Experienced in working with standard tool suites (JIRA, Enterprise Architect, HP ALM, SPIRA Team, TFS etc.) and techniques
  • Exceptional ability to gather functional business process requirements and contribute to translating user requests into functional specifications like FSD, SRS, FRS, UATs, Design Documentation

Qualifications:

Any Graduate with B. E / B. Tech, MCA or equivalent degree with more than 10+ years relevant work experience.
