Position: Business Analyst

Role Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and data-driven Business Analyst to support the Execution Vertical of our interior design company. The role involves bridging finance, project execution, and data insights to ensure timely, cost-effective, and profitable delivery of projects.
The analyst will play a crucial role in monitoring project costs, financial performance, vendor management, cash flows, and execution efficiency by providing actionable insights through data-backed analysis. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, business acumen, and a deep understanding of operations and financial metrics in a project-based environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed analysis of business processes, systems, and workflows to identify areas of improvement.
- Gather, document, and translate business requirements into clear functional specifications.
- Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations that communicate findings, insights, and recommendations effectively.
- Work closely with stakeholders including leadership, operations, finance, and technology teams to ensure alignment between business objectives and project outcomes.
- Support project planning, monitoring, and evaluation to ensure timely delivery and achievement of KPIs.
- Assist in data modeling, forecasting, and cost-benefit analysis for business initiatives.
- Collaborate with the technology team to support system enhancements, integrations, and automation initiatives.
- Continuously review and improve reporting tools and data collection processes.
- Stay updated with industry trends, market shifts, and emerging technologies that can support strategic decision-making.
Qualification & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Data Analysis, Business Administration, Economics or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar analytical role, preferably in construction, interiors, or project-based industries.
- Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools: Must to have - Advanced Ms Excel, Python, SQL, Power BI & Good to have add-ons: Looker or Tableau.
- Experience with process mapping and documentation tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality outputs under tight deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and a structured, methodical approach to work.
