Job Description

job Description: Business Analyst (ERPNext Suite HRMS Module)

Objective

Support the design, configuration, implementation, and stabilization of ERPNext modules (HRMS & Finance) for Government Departments/Organizations. Ensure operational processes, statutory compliance, and financial controls are digitized in line with e-Governance standards. Experience in Urban Development is an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct system review and gap analysis of current HRMS implementation.
  • Work with stakeholders across departments and Urban Local Bodies.
  • Document processes (employee lifecycle, payroll, leave, attendance, claims, benefits, service book, financial flows).
  • Prepare As-Is and To-Be documentation.
  • Translate business requirements into ERPNext configurations (HRMS & Finance).
  • Develop functional test cases, UAT scripts, and validate scenarios.
  • Plan and support implementation across multiple Urban Local Bodies.
  • Create SOPs, user manuals, training material, and conduct training sessions.
  • Provide post go-live functional support and handholding.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in IT, Finance, Management, or HR (Master's preferred).

Experience

  • 47 years in ERP implementation projects.
  • ERPNext or similar ERP platform experience preferred.
  • Exposure to HRMS, Payroll, Financial Accounting & Budgeting.
  • Government/PSU project experience desirable.

  • Strong ERP functional analysis skills in HRMS
  • Cross-module understanding (HR & Finance)

  • Government accounting rules & procurement norms(desirable)

Reporting Structure

  • Reports to Program Manager/Program Head.
  • Coordinates with Department nodal officers.
  • Works with ERP technical & support teams.

Key Performance Indicators

  • Timely and quality documentation.
  • Smooth UAT completion.
  • High adoption rate by Government users.
  • Reduced post go-live issues.
