Business Analyst (P&C)

Desired experience and Job Description:

1. Business Analyst with Property & Casualty Insurance (Commercial) experience

2. Should have an extensive knowledge of P&C Business (US) and Industry

trends, especially on Commercial lines, UK industry knowledge is advantageous.

Should have exposure to / experience in Policy Management/ Underwriting

/ New Business/Claims functionalities of Insurance Life cycle

3. Desired to have work experience on any of leading UW/ Policy Products from Guidewire (PolicyCenter), Duck Creek, OneShield, CSC, Insurity,

Majesco, or in-house projects into these areas for any Insurer/client

4. Should have understanding of Business Processes, Data, Workflows, Rules management and product configurations for Insurance systems

5. Strong Business Analysis skills with experience into Agile methodology as Scrum Master, Story teller, building BA artifacts

6. Strong customer facing skills and presentation skills, should be able to drive implementation with ownership. Ability to understand the business need or problems through GAP analysis, business process analysis, data analysis and interactive working sessions with stakeholders

7. Ability to transform complex business processes, scenario's into simple-to-comprehend business requirements using User stories, Use Cases or modeling tools

8.Ability to conduct and facilitate system testing, quality assurance testing, user acceptance testing, and user training sessions as needed to support functional and maintenance releases.

9. Positive attitude and passionate about product building and should be

a good team player

10.Ability to communicate and interface effectively with business units,

technology teams, architecture leads and individuals at all levels of the organization to understand and document requirements (such as functional, interface, and GUI designs)

11. Desired to have worked with rating, forms, ISO specifications / ERC and ACORD standards for P&C products

12. Should be able to contribute into Product conceptualization / thought partnership and business architecture for Insurance Software products
