Job Purpose:The Research Analyst is responsible for conducting in-depth market research and data analysis to identify trends, technologies, and policy impacts in the solar industry. This role supports strategic decision-making by providing actionable insights and recommendations based on comprehensive competitor and market assessments.
Responsibilities
Market Analysis:
- Conduct research on changing demand and supply trends in the solar industry, focusing on emerging markets and customer segments.
Technology Assessment
- Evaluate new technologies and innovations in solar manufacturing (Ingot, Wafer, Cell and Module) and analyze their potential impact on cost and efficiency.
Policy Monitoring
- Track government policies affecting the solar manufacturing sector, assessing their adequacy and potential implications for the business.
Competitor Benchmarking
- Analyze competitors, especially in China, to identify cost advantages and economies of scale benefits that could inform strategic decisions.
Data Compilation And Analysis
- Collect and analyze data related to expansion opportunities in new geographic markets and technologies.
Financial Modeling Support
- Assist in developing financial models to evaluate the feasibility of potential new plants, expansions and other strategic imperatives
Reporting
- Prepare reports summarizing research findings and insights for presentation to the strategic planning team.
Risk Assessment
- Identify potential risks associated with market changes and propose strategies to mitigate these risks.

Qualifications
Educational Qualification:
