Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Collaborates closely with Product Owner and stakeholders to translate business needs into detailed technical requirements for development and QA teams.
  • Converts product roadmap features into technical specifications, including user stories, acceptance criteria, and integration details.
  • Supports the product vision and roadmap by providing technical insights and feasibility analysis.
  • Performs data analysis and system impact assessments, working with partner teams to ensure accurate and actionable insights.
  • Acts as a technical subject matter expert, offering solutions for complex use cases and integration scenarios.
  • Participates in UAT and technical validation, ensuring requirements are met and systems function as intended.
  • Monitors and evaluates technical progress, recommending improvements to optimize performance and scalability.
  • Identifies and mitigates technical impediments to ensure successful completion of sprint and release goals.
  • Leverages domain and technical knowledge to synthesize input from multiple stakeholders and maximize delivered value.
  • Serves as a bridge between business and development teams, ensuring clarity on technical requirements and priorities.
  • Tracks commitments, dependencies, and ensures alignment with customer expectations.
  • Understands technical terminology and architecture to ask the right questions and validate solutions effectively.
  • Knowledge of web technologies, API integrations, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (Masters degree is a plus).
  • Experience in business intelligence, data analysis, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI).
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst or Technical Analyst in software development or data-driven projects.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills with the ability to interpret complex technical requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in requirements gathering techniques, technical documentation, and process modeling.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience of relevant tools such as Microsoft Visio, JIRA, Confluence, SQL, and API documentation tools.
