Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented Business Analyst with 4 – 8 years of experience, preferably in Shipping Management Platforms and logistics/supply chain solutions. The candidate will play a key role in gathering, analysing, and validating business requirements while ensuring alignment with project deliverables.This role requires strong analytical thinking, stakeholder communication, and hands-on experience with Agile practices and tools like JIRA.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a strong understanding of existing systems and business processes
- Elicit, analyse, and document business requirements and prepare System Requirement Specifications (SRS)
- Ensure requirements are clear, complete, and aligned with business objectives
- Validate project deliverables against business requirements before demos
- Participate in backlog grooming, sprint planning, estimations, and requirement discussions
- Support defect analysis and assist in managing Change Requests
- Collaborate with stakeholders and internal teams to clarify functional queries
- Create and manage User Stories in JIRA, including story points and sub-tasks
- Track daily progress, updates, and blockers in JIRA
- Share regular updates on progress, risks, and action items with stakeholders
Required Skills & Experience
- 4 – 8years of experience as a Business Analyst
- Prior experience in Shipping Management Platforms or logistics/supply chain domain
- Strong skills in requirement elicitation, analysis, and documentation
- Experience in validating business requirements against deliverables
- Hands-on experience with JIRA for user stories and tracking
- Good stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams
- Strong ownership mindset with attention to detail
Preferred Skills
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Basic understanding of defect management and change request handling
- Exposure to end-to-end SDLC processes

Relevant Experience Preferred
