Summary:
The Business Analyst will play a key role in supporting the Service Transformation Program, which includes multiple strategic initiatives across the Service organization. This role is functionally agnostic and will collaborate closely with Finance, Service leadership, and cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of transformation outcomes.
The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical and financial skills to track investment costs, monitor savings against targets, and deliver actionable insights to leadership. This position requires a proactive approach to risk identification, mitigation, and transparent reporting throughout the program lifecycle.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Program & Business Analysis
- Partner with stakeholders across functions to clarify objectives, define requirements, and align on expected outcomes.
- Facilitate workshops, interviews, and working sessions to gather business needs and translate them into actionable deliverables.
- Support program governance by maintaining accurate documentation of scope, objectives, and project progress.
- Drive alignment between transformation goals and operational execution through effective communication and stakeholder engagement.
Financial Oversight & Reporting
- Work closely with Finance and Service leadership to capture and track investment costs and associated savings across the program.
- Provide timely and accurate reporting on financial performance, including spend, savings achieved, and variances against targets.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to support leadership visibility into financial performance and progress.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning cycles for transformation initiatives.
Risk Management & Mitigation
- Monitor financial and operational risks that may impact program delivery.
- Partner with stakeholders to identify issues and develop mitigation plans.
- Escalate risks as needed to ensure timely resolution and maintain program integrity.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Serve as a liaison between Finance, Service leadership, and other business units to ensure alignment and transparency.
- Promote a collaborative working environment that supports knowledge sharing and joint problem-solving.
Required Skills & Abilities:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability with high attention to detail.
- Demonstrated experience in financial tracking and reporting for complex programs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage stakeholders across diverse functions.
- Ability to synthesize data into meaningful insights and present recommendations to leadership.
- Proactive mindset with the ability to anticipate risks and propose solutions.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling; experience with reporting tools preferred.
Required Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in business analysis and/or financial analysis in a program or project-based environment.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams and managing multiple priorities.
- Exposure to transformation programs or large-scale organizational initiatives is an advantage.
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and manage concurrent workstreams.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP) or Finance (e.g., CFA, CPA).
- Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
