Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Analyst with over 10 years of

professional experience to join our rSTAR project. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge

between business stakeholders and technical teams, driving clarity, alignment, and measurable

business outcomes. The role requires a deep understanding of business processes, product

lifecycle management, and agile methodologies.

Roles and Responsibilities

Lead, facilitate and document functional processes and dialog flows.

Analysis and documentation of features, epics, user stories, use cases, acceptance criteria and

other use case modeling techniques and methods.

Work with Product Owner and Scrum Master to capture business needs, features and user stories

to be prioritized based on business impact and complexity.

Work with Technical Lead and Developers describing epics, features and user stories to be

developed, including acceptance criteria.

Work closely with Product Owner to ensure all business needs are met, including project

objectives, expected results, and business impact.

Work closely with Scrum Master to assist with backlog grooming, user stories management and

prioritization of features based on release.

Introduce ideas that may enhance the solution for the customer.

Participate in daily scrum calls

Must Have:

Technical Business Analysis Expertise: Proven experience in understanding and translating

technical requirements into actionable insights.

Ability to bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders effectively.

Product Vision and Strategy Contribution: Capability to play a strategic role in defining the

product's vision and roadmap. Demonstrated experience in suggesting and driving a new feature

or product that delivers measurable value to the business.

Ideation to Implementation Skills: Strong track record of managing the entire process of

ideating, validating, and implementing new features or products.

Understanding Product Development and Lifecycle: In-depth knowledge of product

development processes, methodologies, and lifecycle management to ensure alignment with the

organization's goals.

Experience of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Business Process Reengineering, Agile

and extreme programming methodologies.

Extensive experience in business writing skills including Business Requirements Documents

(BRDs), System Requirements Documents (SRDs), Use Case Specifications and Functional

Specifications.

Proficient with use case mapping and activity diagrams.

Expertise working with technical developers and business teams to create, interpret, and

implement software systems.

Proficient in requirement gathering and analysis, validation, business requirements specifications

and functional specifications, lead JAD sessions, use cases, user interface design, relational

database models and data flow models.

Good to Have:

Documenting features and user stories in Azure DevOps is preferred.

Familiarity with Invision and Mural for use case and process flow creation is preferred.

Proficiency in Microsoft applications including Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and

Excel.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Effective presentation skills and interpersonal skills.

Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Experience with a Consulting Firm is an added advantage.

Qualification & Skills:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field; master's degree preferred.

Certifications in relevant areas are highly desirable.

Strong problem-solving, analytical, and presentation skills.
