Job Title: Business Analyst Payments Domain (PEGA, SWIFT)

Experience: 8+ years (Payment's domain expertise required)
We are looking for an experiencedBusiness Analyst for a Big Four Firmwith strong knowledge of thePayments domain, includingSWIFT messaging standardsandISO 20022, and familiarity withPEGA workflows. The BA will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring requirements are clearly defined and implemented effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for payment processing systems and workflows.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into functional specifications.
- Collaborate with PEGA developers to design and validate workflows and case management solutions.
- Define requirements forSWIFT message integration(MT/MX formats) and compliance with payment standards.
- Support Python-based application development by providing clear functional requirements and use cases.
- Conduct gap analysis, impact assessment, and feasibility studies for new features and enhancements.
- Prepare detailed process flows, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Facilitate workshops, UAT sessions, and stakeholder sign-offs.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and security standards in payment systems.
Required Skills
- Payments Domain Expertise:Knowledge of payment systems, clearing, settlement, SWIFT, ISO 20022.
- PEGA Knowledge:Understanding of PEGA workflows and case management concepts.
- SWIFT Messaging:Familiarity with MT/MX message formats and payment integration.
- Requirements Management:Strong skills in elicitation, documentation, and validation.
- Tools:JIRA, Confluence, MS Visio, Excel.
- Communication:Ability to interact with technical and business teams effectively.
- Agile Methodology:Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience inISO 20022 migration projects.
- Familiarity withPython-based applications(basic understanding for requirement mapping).
- Knowledge ofAPI integrationsand data flows in payment systems.
