We are seeking a Business Analyst with strong expertise in JIRA and experience working in Agile teams. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in Agile practices and participate actively in Agile sprint ceremonies. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into well-defined user stories for the development team.
Key Responsibilities
Agile Sprint Ceremonies:
- Actively participate in all Agile sprint ceremonies, including:
- Sprint Planning: Collaborating with the team to define user stories and ensure clarity in acceptance criteria.
- Daily Stand-ups: Providing updates on progress, blockers, and upcoming tasks.
- Sprint Reviews: Helping demonstrate completed work and gather feedback from stakeholders.
- Sprint Retrospectives: Contributing insights to improve processes and team collaboration.
JIRA Management
- Use JIRA to create, track, and manage user stories, tasks, and bugs.
- Ensure proper backlog grooming and prioritization of user stories in JIRA.
- Regularly update the status of tasks and communicate progress to stakeholders.
User Story Creation & Refinement
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and document clear, concise user stories.
- Break down high-level requirements into actionable tasks with acceptance criteria.
- Ensure user stories align with business goals and technical feasibility.
Communication & Collaboration
- Act as the liaison between business stakeholders, product owners, and development teams.
- Ensure timely communication regarding requirements, changes, and priorities.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Identify process bottlenecks and suggest improvements to streamline Agile processes.
- Ensure alignment between Agile practices and business objectives.
Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in an Agile environment.
- Strong proficiency in JIRA for issue tracking and sprint management.
- In-depth understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
- Experience in creating and refining user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
