Business Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with strong General Insurance domain knowledge and Middle East market exposure. The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, underwriting, claims, actuarial, compliance, and IT teams to gather requirements, optimize processes, and support implementation of insurance solutions aligned with regional regulations and business needs.

Business & Domain Analysis

• Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements for General Insurance productsincluding Motor, Property, Marine, Medical, Travel, and Liability.
• Understand and interpret Middle East insurance regulations(e.g., Saudi, UAE, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain) and ensure compliance in system and process design.
• Act as a bridge between business users and technical teams to translate business needs into functional specifications.

Requirements & Documentation

Prepare BRDs, FRDs, user stories, use cases, process flows, and data mappings.

Support product configuration for policy administration, underwriting, claims, reinsurance, billing, and reporting systems.

Validate requirements through workshops, walkthroughs, and stakeholder reviews.

Stakeholder Management

Collaborate with Underwriting, Claims, Finance, Compliance, Operations, and IT teams.

Conduct requirement-gathering sessions, gap analysis, and solution design workshops.

Support UAT planning, test case preparation, defect triage, and business sign-off.

Process & System Support

Analyze AS-IS and design TO-BE business processes for efficiency and regulatory alignment.

Support core insurance system implementations, enhancements, or migrations.

Assist in post-implementation support and continuous process improvements.

Domain Expertise

Strong experience in General Insurance(P&C) domain.

Good understanding of:

Policy lifecycle (quotation to renewal)

Underwriting rules and rating

Claims processing and settlements

Reinsurance concepts
