About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions. The ideal candidate will gather requirements, analyze data, and collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to deliver impactful solutions. You will play a key role in improving processes, enhancing product features, and supporting decision-making with clear documentation and insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with stakeholders to understand business objectives, challenges, and requirements.
- Gather, document, and translate functional/non-functional requirements into clear specifications.
- Create BRDs, FRDs, user stories, process flows, and wireframes.
- Collaborate with product managers and engineering teams to ensure accurate solution delivery.
- Conduct gap analysis, impact analysis, and feasibility studies.
- Analyze data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement.
- Assist in creating UAT test plans and support testing activities.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams for project execution and delivery.
- Ensure project documentation is up-to-date and aligned with business needs.
- Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and Agile ceremonies (if applicable).
Required Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in requirement gathering, user story creation, and documentation.
- Good understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Proficiency in data analysis using Excel, SQL, Power BI/Tableau (basic level).
- Ability to create process documents, flowcharts (Visio, Lucidchart), and wireframes.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working in product or technology-driven organizations.
- Basic understanding of API workflows and integration concepts.
- Exposure to project management tools like JIRA, Confluence, Asana, or Trello.
- Domain knowledge in BFSI, e-commerce, healthcare, or telecom (optional based on company).
- Certification like CBAP, CCBA, or Scrum Master is a plus.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- MBA or similar postgraduate qualification is a plus.
