Our mission is to make it easier, faster, and more transparent for people to discover and hire trusted professionals online, while helping businesses grow through qualified, high-intent leads.

We have completed the product build, and our platform is now ready for launch. Leadzo is entering an exciting phase as we begin onboarding our first users and testing the marketplace in the live market to refine the product, user experience, and growth engine.

Role overview

We are looking for a Business Analyst Intern who is curious about marketplaces, data, and startup growth.

In this role, you will work closely with the founder, product, and growth teams to analyze marketplace data, identify trends, build dashboards, and generate insights that support product, operations, and strategic decision-making.

This is a hands-on opportunity to understand how an early-stage startup operates and scales using data, experimentation, and rapid learning from the market.

Key Responsibilities

Marketplace Analytics

  • Analyze buyer and seller behavior on the platform
  • Track key metrics such as:
  • Lead generation & conversion
  • Buyer/Seller metrics
  • Quote activity
  • Identify patterns and insights to improve marketplace efficiency and more

Data & Reporting

  • Build and maintain weekly and monthly business dashboards
  • Work with MongoDB / data exports/reporting tools to organize data
  • Track growth metrics and business KPIs

Product & Growth Insights

  • Support product decisions through data analysis
  • Analyze user journeys and drop-off points
  • Help evaluate the performance of new features or experiments

Business Research

  • Conduct research on:
  • Competitor marketplaces
  • Pricing models
  • Service category trends
  • Prepare reports for strategic planning

Process Improvement

  • Identify inefficiencies in operations or workflows
  • Recommend improvements using data insights

Skills & Qualifications

Education

  • Final year student or recent graduate in:
  • Business/Engineering/Data Analytics/Management

Required Skills

  • Strong analytical thinking
  • Comfortable with Excel / Google Sheets
  • Ability to interpret data and extract insights
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and presentation ability

Bonus Skills (Good to have)

  • SQL knowledge
  • Experience with dashboards (Tableau, Power BI, Metabase, etc.)
  • Basic understanding of marketplaces or startups
  • Familiarity with product analytics
