BA Analyst-Risk

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and strategic professional to lead business change initiatives with strong expertise in contract management, enterprise risk management, stakeholder engagement, and business analysis. The ideal candidate will drive measurable business outcomes by combining analytical rigor, market awareness, regulatory understanding, and structured change governance.

This role requires strong commercial acumen, critical thinking, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders while ensuring risk-managed and compliant delivery of business initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Contract & Risk Governance
  • Lead Contract Management including risk identification, compliance tracking, and performance monitoring.
  • Manage Operational and Enterprise Risk Management frameworks.
  • Oversee Issue & Risk Event Management, including escalation and mitigation planning.
  • Manage risk in change initiatives, ensuring proper governance and controls.
  • Ensure alignment with Legal and Regulatory Compliance requirements.
  • Develop and monitor Risk & Control frameworks.
  1. Business Change & Readiness
  • Define and articulate clear business outcomes aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Drive Business Readiness activities to ensure successful implementation of change.
  • Apply market and business knowledge to shape and deliver transformation initiatives.
  • Conduct Environmental Analysis to assess internal and external business factors.
  • Lead Impact Analysis across processes, technology, people, and governance.
  1. Business Analysis & Requirements Leadership
  • Lead Discovery sessions to shape business needs and solution approaches.
  • Drive Shaping Business Requirements and structured Requirements Management.
  • Develop and maintain Requirements Modelling documentation.
  • Build robust Business Cases with financial, risk, and strategic justification.
  • Define and manage MVPs (Minimum Viable Products) and MMPs (Minimum Marketable Products).
  • Conduct estimation activities and manage delivery using Burnup/Burndown tracking techniques.
  1. Stakeholder & Change Management
  • Build and maintain strong Stakeholder Relationships across business and technology teams.
  • Influence senior stakeholders to enable informed decision-making.
  • Facilitate workshops and drive consensus in complex environments.
  • Communicate risks, issues, trade-offs, and outcomes clearly and effectively.
  1. Analytical & Problem-Solving Excellence
  • Apply advanced analytical skills and critical thinking to solve complex business problems.
  • Evaluate solution options with cost, risk, regulatory, and operational lenses.
  • Ensure structured problem-solving approaches in ambiguous environments.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong experience in Contract Management and Risk Governance
  • Proven experience in Enterprise/Operational Risk Management
  • Demonstrated expertise in Change Risk Management
  • Advanced Business Analysis and requirements modelling capability
  • Experience building Business Cases and Impact Assessments
  • Strong understanding of Legal & Regulatory Compliance
  • Experience managing MVP/MMP delivery models
  • Familiarity with estimation techniques and agile tracking metrics (Burnups/Burndowns)
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking capability
