About the Role

As a Business Analyst Information Management in the Data & Analytics function at IDFC FIRST Bank, you will play a key role in bridging business needs with data-driven solutions. You will work closely with analytics teams to define requirements, develop test strategies, and contribute to the bank's data strategy. This role requires a strong understanding of data structures, analytical frameworks, and the ability to drive innovation and continuous improvement across data initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities

  • Gather and document business requirements for regulatory reporting, campaign management, and data governance.
  • Liaise with risk, compliance, and business teams to ensure reporting meets RBI and other regulatory standards.
  • Translate reporting and data needs into functional specifications for the data engineering and MIS teams.
  • Validate accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of regulatory and business reports.
  • Support automation of recurring reporting processes and data quality checks.
  • Conduct impact assessment of regulatory changes on existing reporting frameworks.
  • Develop BRDs/FRDs for new data solutions, ensuring alignment with governance and security standards.
  • Collaborate with data governance teams to maintain metadata, lineage, and documentation.
  • Assist in testing and validation of new reporting solutions before deployment.
  • Monitor KPIs related to reporting efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.

  • Postgraduate Degree(preferred) in:

  • Information Management

Experience

  • 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in business analysis, data strategy, or analytics roles, preferably within financial services or banking.

  • Ability to translate business requirements into actionable data strategies.
