The Biosciences Division (BID) utilizes a cloud-based portfolio management tool for reporting project status, resourcing, and other critical project-based information during new product development. Data from this tool and other sources is visualized and analyzed to enable data-driven decision-making across the division and within individual business units. The ideal candidate for this role will support data analysis, report generation, and the underlying processes used to capture and report project information supporting innovation and strategy for the division.
Responsibilities
- Support global colleagues in developing and maintaining processes for capturing project data throughout the new product development
- Partner with stakeholders and colleagues to organize data for further analysis on performance trends and other metrics to support strategic decision-making
- Import, extract, and cleanse data from the cloud-based software tool to produce Power BI / Excel -based dashboards and reports
- Work with system administrators to assess and ensure data quality
- Prepare monthly and quarterly reports on financial, resourcing, and project status
- Work with stakeholders to develop / improve process for reporting with templates and a calendar mechanism
- Document new processes and procedures
- During report cycle need to support US team overlapping with US time zone
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
- Advanced Excel and Power BI skills, including complex modeling, dashboards, and reporting
- Experience in predictive modeling for cost, capacity, budget, and revenue forecasting
- Strong background in statistical modeling, optimization, and demand forecasting
- Proficiency in Python or R for analytics
- Experience with AI-driven forecasting and analytics tools
- Ability to create workflows, business diagrams, and executive presentations
- Experience with cloud-based portfolio management tools (preferred)
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Experience with Power BI AI features (AutoML, Q&A, Smart Narratives)
- AI-driven data storytelling and executive reporting
- Experience using LLM tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) and prompt engineering to generate actionable portfolio insights
Work Experience
- 6+ years of overall work / industry experience
- 2+ years (or equivalent demonstrated capability) experience in Business Analytic role
