About The Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Business Analyst to join our client's dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in analyzing and translating complex business needs into clear, actionable technical requirements. This role involves close collaboration with stakeholders across various departments, including operations, safety, and regulatory compliance, to ensure that technology solutions align with business objectives. The Business Analyst will be responsible for eliciting requirements, conducting gap analysis, and creating detailed process models and documentation such as Business Requirements Documents (BRD) and Functional Specification Documents (FSD). The position offers an excellent opportunity to work with cutting-edge aviation systems, resource scheduling management, and compliance modules within a global organization. The role is based in multiple locations including Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Pune, Noida, and Gurgaon, with an immediate to 15-day notice period preferred.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 7+ years of experience in business analysis, preferably within the aviation or related industries. A strong educational background in engineering, business administration, or a related field is required. Expertise in requirements elicitation, process modeling, and gap analysis is essential. Candidates must have hands-on experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Visio, and Azure DevOps (ADO). Deep domain knowledge of aviation operations, including crew scheduling, flight operations, and safety management, is highly desirable. Familiarity with regulatory standards such as FAA and EASA, along with airline industry standards, is necessary. Candidates should demonstrate excellent communication skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders across various departments, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of operational needs.
  • Create detailed Business Requirements Documents (BRD) and Functional Specification Documents (FSD) to communicate technical and functional specifications clearly.
  • Develop user stories, acceptance criteria, and process models to facilitate effective development and implementation of solutions.
  • Conduct gap analysis to identify areas for process improvement and technological enhancement within aviation operations.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to translate business needs into technical specifications and oversee the development process.
  • Support the implementation of resource scheduling management systems and Content Management System (CMS) modules, ensuring alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in testing, validation, and user acceptance activities to ensure solutions meet business expectations.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation and facilitate training sessions for end-users and stakeholders.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices to recommend innovative solutions for operational efficiency and compliance.
