Title: Business Analyst Healthcare (EHR/RCM)

Experience: 3 to 6 years (mandatory)

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Business Analyst role located in Mangalagiri. We are looking for a hands-on Business Analyst with strong experience in US Healthcare (EHR, PM, RCM) who can write clear, developer-ready specifications without supervision. The Business Analyst will be responsible for analyzing business needs and processes, translating them into actionable business requirements, and providing insights to enhance operational efficiency. The role includes collaborating with teams to optimize business processes, ensuring clear communication between stakeholders, and driving solutions for EHR and Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) systems. The Business Analyst will also ensure the seamless integration of healthcare management tools while maintaining alignment with organizational goals.

This is NOT a coordination-only or managerial BA role.

We need someone who can think, analyze, and write at a production level.

If you have worked only in AR/RCM operations without documentation or BA responsibilities, this role is not a fit.

Core Responsibilities

Write BRDs, FRDs, Use Cases, User Stories, Gherkin AC, process flows, UI/UX specs

Break complex requirements into clear developer-ready stories

Document business rules, validations, field mappings, and exception handling

Work closely with Engineering, QA, and Product to ensure clarity and completeness

Create workflow diagrams and functional specifications

Analyze and document scheduling workflows (day/week/month views)

Support multi-tenant EHR/RCM features: eligibility, claims, appointments, demographics

Validate requirements with stakeholders (providers, admin, billing teams)

Review API behavior and help map UI requirements to backend logic

Assist QA team with acceptance criteria, test scenarios, and UAT clarity

Mandatory

3 to 6 years experience as a Business Analyst in US Healthcare

Hands-on experience writing:

Use Cases

User Stories

Acceptance Criteria (Gherkin)

Functional/Technical Specifications

Strong understanding of:

Smart on FHIR

EHR/PM workflows

Appointment scheduling

Eligibility (270/271)

Basic claims/RCM (837/835 lifecycle)

Provider, location, and template-based scheduling rules

Excellent written and verbal English

Ability to think in flows, rules, validations, and edge cases

Nice to Have

Understanding of HL7/CCD/CCDA/FHIR

Experience with multi-tenant SaaS software

Experience in matrix teams or fast-moving product environments

Exposure to PBM, Care Management, or Medicaid

Experience with SQL basics (not mandatory)

Not a Fit If You:

Worked only in AR/RCM operations without BA documentation

Are a senior BA who does only stakeholder meetings, not writing

Need micromanagement or hand-holding to write specs

Cannot produce structured documents quickly

Depend on templates/AI for every answer
