Inviting applications for the role of Business Analyst, Data & Reporting
Genpact is searching for dynamic, open-minded, mature individuals to support their Data & Reporting operations.
Responsibilities
Understand client requirements and work on scheduled tactical reports
Develop an understanding on available SQL scripts/stored procedures in the process and make minor changes in them whenever necessary after coordinating with Onshore team.
Own the responsibilities assigned and must be able to prioritize deliverables in hand as per the need of the hour
Coordination with client on daily deliverables, as and when required.
Maintaining process SLA/KPIs are per the set targets
Ensure timely/accurate delivery of reports as per the schedule set during the month
Managing/keeping process inventory like different trackers, SOPs, Process flows etc. accurate/up-to-date on regular basis
Coordinate with other team members in order to ensure smooth delivery of tasks scheduled/assigned
Managing internal/external stakeholders seamlessly
Lead/take complete ownership of assigned data visualization and dashboard efforts across subject areas within the Insurance domain (Submission, Policy/Premium or Claim level analysis
etc).
Process change requests on steady state dashboard reports with attention to reconciliation expectations.
Execute standard testing and reconciliation for new or revised standard dashboard reports.
Share knowledge with other junior team members.
Skills:
Intermediate knowledge of PowerBI and DAX Studio required. Good understanding of Power Automate, Gateways and Data Flows
SQL expertise required. Requires advanced understanding of data modeling, table relationships, and query optimization. Skilled in merging data from multiple disparate sources.
Python/R knowledge for integration with PowerBI / Tableau is good to have
Automations using Power App / Power Automate
Ability to own report development effort with minimal supervision.
Problem solving data related trouble-shooting such as identifying reconciliation variances, or determining cause of data anomalies.
Ability to interview users and understand requirements.
Expert in MS Office
Be able to prioritize based on due dates and task demands.
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum qualifications:
B.Tech, MCA or M.ComPost Graduate
Proficient in coordinating with Internal/External stakeholders along with process management
Relevant years of experience in insurance data. Knowledge of US P&C and Specialty Insurance Industry
Relevant years of experience in Power BI/ DAX Studio, SQL & Advanced Excel
Relevant years of experience in automations using Power Apps , Power Automate
Knowledge of SAS, Salesforce and Cloud services, snowflakes is good to have.

Excellent communication skills with analytical mind set
