Job Description

Project Description:

The role sits in the Trade Management team focusing on the build out of the in-house strategic cross asset risk platform: SABRE which is the bank's strategic platform for trade processing, valuation and market. It consists in designing and delivering solutions to the users of this platform with an initial focus onboarding new products, driving enhancement solutions, planning project timelines and working with multiple stakeholders such as users and developers to achieve desired outcome.

As the main focus of the role is on the Trade Data Store (TDS2), experience in trade booking, lifecycling and how a trade prices using static or market data is preferable. This would also require basic understanding of the financial products booked in the trades, with emphasis on FX (swaps, forwards, NDFs, etc) and IR products (eg. Repo and bonds). The role will be required to provide third-level business support for issues in trade replication, and also project enhancements for Front Office traders requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating with stakeholders from various project teams in Financial Markets, agree timelines and funding, manage all governance requirements in close collaboration with technical development manager
  • Coordinating with cross discipline team members to make sure that all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules
  • Document Actions from the workshops and assist with the tracking of the deliverables.
  • Prepare Gap Analysis, Business Requirements Documents and Project Approval Requests
  • Work closely with SME experts in various areas of the business gaining an understanding of their processes.
  • Document and raise any Risks and Issues to the Product Owners, Business owners and Program Management.
  • Take part in project testing cycles and assist with the preparation of test packs.
  • Understand the functionalities of the current systems and process, and come up with requirements for system/process improvements.

Mandatory Skills Description:

  • 8-12 years experience with business analysis, solution design and end-to-end delivery in the Financial Markets industry
  • Must have deep & strong experience in any one of below (mandatory):

- Equities and Fix Income

- Commodities - especially Precious & Base Metals

- FX Options - expert in FXO strategies and Structures

- Reference Data - expert in building reference data system and integrations with market data providers

  • Some technical background in analyzing or reviewing code changes would be preferable
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge and experience of Agile development practices
  • Ability to work proactively, independently and displays strong initiative.
  • Meticulous and upkeep documentation of project artifacts, discussions, risks, functional specifications
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with an excellent standard of English are a must.

Nice-to-Have Skills Description:

  • Certifications such as Scrum Master, Product Owner or PMP a plus.
  • Knowledge and previous experience of large-scale financial markets technology platforms a plus.
