The Position:

We are looking for a Business Analyst having 5 to 9 years of strong experience working as a Business Analyst in the US P&C insurance industry, with a focus on Duck Creek Policy Administration System. The candidate should have In-depth knowledge and understanding of Commercial Lines & Personal Lines Products also having strong experience in Duck Creek Policy Administration System. Familiarity with insurance industry standards and best practices, including policy lifecycle, underwriting, rating. Relevant certifications in Duck Creek Policy Administration system would be a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with Product Owner to conduct requirement elicitation, requirement gathering and documenting the requirements.
• To communicate and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at various levels.
• Track & maintained requirement specifications like BRD, FRD.
• Write user stories with clearly defined acceptance criteria and take care of backlog refinement.
• Participate in User Acceptance Testing along with Business/Ops users.
• Provide necessary support to Operations users in case of queries/issues reported in production.
• Work with Product Owner to perform backlog refinement and maintain Product Backlog.

Required skills:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Technology, or another related field or Equivalent
• Minimum of 5 Years of experience working in Duck Creek Policy Admin System.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to conduct requirement elicitation, requirement gathering and documenting the requirements.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at various levels.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Understand the Personal lines and commercial lines product.
• Strong understanding of rating, integrations, and Forms.
• Experience in working P&C Insurance domain is mandatory.
• Good at understanding and reviewing product requirements.
• Effective understanding of Business Analysis Process.
• Experience in delivering via Agile/Scrum methodology.
• Strong software development methodology understanding, and have assisted in the design, development or testing of a technology integration project.
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment.
• Strong analytical and technical skills.
• Should have good oral and written communication skills.
• Expertise in Jira tool.
