Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Elicit, analyze, and document business and customer requirements into FRDs, SRS, epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Act as a Single Point of Contact (SPOC) between business, engineering, UX, QA, and data teams.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives, customer needs, and pain points.
  • Plan and lead requirement elicitation workshops with clients end-to-end.
  • Translate business needs into clear functional and technical specifications.
  • Drive backlog refinement, prioritization, and release planning in Agile environments.
  • Ensure solutions align with business goals, product vision, and IT standards.
  • Work closely with development teams during design, development, and implementation phases.
  • Lead UAT planning, execution, defect tracking, and closure.
  • Create process flows, use cases, wireframes, and data models.
  • Manage requirement changes and maintain traceability matrices.
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and opportunities across products and platforms.
  • Support post-implementation reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Partner with Product Managers to define product vision, roadmap, and success metrics.
  • Lead end-to-end requirement discovery for complex product features and platforms.

Mandatory Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in product-based companies.
  • Strong experience in FinTech, Banking, or digital products.
  • Expertise in Agile / Scrum product development methodologies.
  • Strong experience in data analysis using advanced Excel and/or BI tools.
  • Hands-on experience with JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint, and wireframing tools.
  • Excellent skills in user story writing, backlog management, and requirement traceability.
  • Strong understanding of APIs, system integrations, and data flows.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Strong customer-centric mindset.
  • Ability to work effectively in fast-paced product environments.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience working closely with Product Managers on roadmap and strategy definition.
  • Exposure to large-scale platforms or complex enterprise systems.
  • Experience with BI dashboards, analytics platforms, or data visualization tools.
