Business Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with strong Asset Management domain knowledge to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technology teams. The ideal candidate will work closely with portfolio managers, operations teams, compliance teams, and technology teams to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and deliver solutions that support investment management, fund accounting, trade lifecycle management, and regulatory reporting initiatives.

Business Analysis

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders.
• Conduct workshops, interviews, and requirement elicitation sessions.
• Create Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Documents (FRD), user stories, and process flows.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications for development teams.
• Perform gap analysis and recommend process improvements.

Asset Management Domain Responsibilities

• Analyze and support processes across:
• Portfolio Management
• Investment Management
• Fund Accounting
• Trade Lifecycle Management
• Performance Measurement & Attribution
• Risk Management
• Compliance & Regulatory Reporting
• Client Reporting
• Understand Front Office, Middle Office, and Back Office workflows.
• Support investment products including:
• Equities
• Fixed Income
• Mutual Funds
• ETFs
• Derivatives
• Alternative Investments

Stakeholder Management

• Collaborate with Portfolio Managers, Traders, Operations, Compliance, Risk, and IT teams.
• Facilitate requirement review meetings and obtain stakeholder sign-off.
• Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams.

Project Delivery

• Support Agile and Waterfall project methodologies.
• Participate in Sprint planning, backlog grooming, and UAT activities.
• Develop test scenarios and support User Acceptance Testing.
• Track project deliverables and manage requirement traceability.

Data Analysis

• Analyze large datasets to identify trends and business impacts.
• Validate data migration and reconciliation activities.
• Create reports and dashboards using BI tools.

Required Skills

Domain Knowledge

• Strong understanding of Asset Management and Investment Management.
• Knowledge of trade lifecycle from order creation through settlement.
• Understanding of fund accounting and NAV calculations.
• Familiarity with performance attribution and risk analytics.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements such as MiFID II, SEC, ESG reporting, AIFMD, UCITS, etc.
