Upskills provides expert financial software consulting to investment banks and leading financial institutions in Asia Pacific, Middle East and Europe. With a strong, Front to Back expertise in the cash and derivatives markets, coupled by an in-depth knowledge of financial markets technologies, we provide smart and efficient solutions.
We are seeking a highly-dedicated Business Analyst with good knowledge & experience in Broadridge Sentry, a portfolio management and loan administration platform, to support trading activities within the Private Credit, Syndicated Loans and Collateralized Loan Obligation (CLO) domains.
The role also needs to manage and work with external technology consultants, as well as service providers in ensuring that the IT business applications are operating efficiently and robustly.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Business Analysis & Requirement Gathering:
- Engage Front, Middle, and Back Office stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.
- Conduct gap analysis between current processes and Sentry system capabilities.
- Produce high-quality documentation including:
oBusiness Requirement Documents (BRD)
oFunctional Specifications (FSD)
oProcess flows (AS-IS / TO-BE)
o User stories and acceptance criteria
2. Broadridge Sentry System Expertise:
- Strong knowledge in Sentry modules related to:
oDeal Origination Pipeline.
oInvestment Workflow & Trades Lifecycle Management
oCredit Analysis & Portfolio Insights
oFinancial and Data Management such as maintaining attributes Security Master and Research Manager.
oLoan Administration & Operations
oCompliance & Risk Monitoring
oInvestment Documentation, Reporting and Dashboarding
- Participate in Sentry upgrades, patches, and migration projects.
- Support development teams and business users on:
oInterface specifications (i.e. SWIFT, custodians, market infrastructures)
oSystem integrations.
3. Stakeholder and Vendor Management:
- Collaborate with Operations, IT, Compliance, and Risk teams.
- Act as liaison with Broadridge Financial Solutions support team for issue resolution and enhancement requests.
- Facilitate workshops and walkthrough sessions with global stakeholders.
4. Testing and Implementation:
- Prepare test strategy, test scenarios and test cases.
- Coordinate SIT, UAT, and regression testing.
- Support production deployment and post-implementation stabilization.
- Provide user training and documentation.
Requirements
- Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Business Analytics, Information System, Financial Engineering or similar domain.
- Minimum 3 years in a client-facing technical, functional support role or in implementation/delivery role with Broadridge Sentry platform.
- Prior FIS Quantum experience and fund administration experience is a strong plus.
- Strong understanding of Private Credit, Syndicated Loans and Collateralized Loan Obligation (CLO) domains are preferred.
- Strong communicator with exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively to a variety of audiences.
- Proven ability to work autonomously and drive results in complex environments.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills: ability to influence and manage senior stakeholders independently.
- Experienced in developing concise and comprehensive test strategy, scenarios and cases.
