Business Analyst - Analytics Consulting

The Business Analyst / Senior Business Analyst is responsible for translating business needs into data-driven insights and actionable solutions. You will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that business requirements are clearly defined, analyzed, and translated into scalable solutions that drive strategic outcomes.

. Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for reporting and analytics initiatives.

. Create BRD, FRD, user stories, and functional specifications to clearly define solution requirements.

. Translate business requirements into data models, reporting logic, and dashboard requirements.

. Define and standardize KPIs, metrics, and reporting frameworks to ensure consistency across reporting layers.

. Work closely with Data Engineering and BI teams to ensure accurate implementation of reporting solutions.

. Perform data analysis using SQL and Excel to validate data outputs and ensure reporting accuracy.

. Support data validation, UAT coordination, and stakeholder sign-offs prior to deployment.

. Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, backlog grooming, and sprint planning activities.

Skills and Qualification:Exposure to Sales and Commercial analytics

. 6+ years of experiencein Business Analysis within BI, Data, or Reporting environments

. Experience working with Retail / Consumer analytics data platforms such as Circanaor Nielsen(preferred)

. Understanding of Power BI semantic models and dashboard design logic

. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with large datasets

. Experience working with cross-functional teams including business, engineering, and analytics team

. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
