Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with strong exposure to Cargoes Customs, Logistics, Supply Chain, Shipping, or Freight Forwarding domains. The ideal candidate will have excellent skills in business requirements gathering, process reengineering, backlog management in Agile environments, and stakeholder collaboration.
You will work closely with clients, subject matter experts, and agile teams to ensure that requirements are translated into effective product features and business solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and clearly articulate business requirements including product functions, features, and behaviors.
- Manage product backlogs in Agile projects and support development teams with detailed user stories.
- Conduct tests, surveys, and workshops to validate requirements and solutions.
- Collaborate with client's subject matter experts and stakeholders to align business needs with system functionalities.
- Prepare project documentation (Project Initiation Document, System Requirements Specification, user stories, etc.).
- Perform business process modeling, UI prototyping, and requirements mapping.
- Evaluate the implications of changes and support process reengineering initiatives.
- Ensure effective customer relations and stakeholder management.
- Assist in quality assurance, decision-making, and problem-solving activities throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Skills & Expertise
- 58 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in Cargoes Customs, Logistics, Supply Chain, Shipping, or Freight Forwarding.
- Strong knowledge of Agile methodology and product backlog management.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
- Expertise in requirements gathering, process reengineering, and business analysis.
- Proficiency in documentation tools (JIRA, Confluence, Draw.io, Visio, Excel, MS Project).
- Strong analytical and critical thinking with ability to propose process improvements.
- Competence in report writing, presentation, and documentation with great attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure with high commitment and strong problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Domain experience in Logistics, Shipping, Supply Chain, or Freight Forwarding.
- Knowledge of requirement management and prototyping tools.
- Ability to build trusting relationships with stakeholders and effectively manage expectations.
