As a Business Analyst within JPMorganChase, you will play a pivotal role in partnering with business and technology stakeholders to deliver practical, scalable solutions using Alteryx, SQL, Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint, and Enterprise Service Desk (ESD) capabilities. You'll contribute across the delivery lifecycle from understanding requirements and designing solutions, to building, testing, deploying, and supporting tools that improve operational efficiency and enable business outcomes

Job responsibilities
  • Build and enhance data workflows using Alteryx and SQL to support reporting, analytics, and operational processes.
  • Develop low-code applications and automations using Power Apps and Power Automate, integrating with data sources and enterprise platforms as needed.
  • Support SharePoint solutions including site enhancements, document management workflows, permissions, lists/libraries, and collaboration enablement.
  • Enable ESD (Enterprise Service Desk) improvements by developing tools, automations, and lightweight scripts to enhance ticket intake, routing, tracking, and resolution efficiency.
  • Participate in requirements gathering, solution design, testing, UAT support, deployment, and post-release support, ensuring alignment to control, risk, and compliance expectations.
  • Provide production support and troubleshooting, and maintain clear technical documentation, runbooks, and best practices to ensure solution stability and continuity.
  • Collaborate across teams, communicate progress effectively, and contribute to continuous improvement through learning and feedback.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Hands-on experience (academic, internship, or professional) with Alteryx for data preparation, blending, and workflow development.
  • Strong foundational SQL skills (queries, joins, aggregations, data validation, and troubleshooting).
  • Experience building solutions with Power Apps and Power Automate
  • Familiarity with SharePoint for site creation, content management, and integration
  • Exposure to service desk / ESD processes and an interest in automation for operational efficiency.
  • Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Experience with data quality checks, monitoring, and workflow optimization
  • Ability to use AI-assisted tools to accelerate analysis, documentation, and solution development (within approved firm standards).
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to manage priorities across multiple requests in a fast-paced environment.
