Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Engineer to join our growing technology team. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our EMR platform through structured manual and API testing processes. This is a hands-on role where your work directly impacts patient data integrity and clinical workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, execute and document manual test cases for web and mobile interfaces of the EMR platform
- Perform API testing using Postman — validate endpoints, request/response structures, and data accuracy
- Identify, log, and track bugs through the full defect lifecycle using project management tools
- Conduct regression, smoke, and functional testing across releases
- Work closely with developers and product managers to understand requirements and flag gaps early
- Validate data flows between EMR modules — patient records, appointments, prescriptions, reports
- Contribute to building and maintaining a structured test case repository
- Participate in sprint reviews and provide QA sign-off before releases
Required Skills
- Hands-on experience with Postman for API testing — collections, environments, assertions
- Strong manual testing skills — test case writing, execution, and bug reporting
- Understanding of software QA methodologies and testing life cycle
- Ability to read and interpret API documentation
- Good eye for detail and ability to reproduce bugs consistently
- Clear written communication for bug reports and test documentation
Good to Have
- Prior experience testing EMR, HIMS, or any healthcare software — strongly preferred
- Familiarity with FHIR, HL7, or healthcare data standards
- Basic understanding of SQL for data validation

- 1–3 years of QA experience (freshers with strong Postman and manual testing skills will be considered)
