Job Description

Understand the business requirements and develop in-house Oracle technology solutions used internally by Payroll Operations Team using PL/SQL, APEX (Oracle Application Express), JavaScript, CSS and HTML technologies. Produce technical and functional documentation for developed applications. Provide technical support to Payroll Team Members.

At least 2 years of experience in a similar position, including development experience.
Bachelor's degree in computer science/software engineering or related field.
Work from the office in Bangalore, at least three days a week.

  1. Develop, enhance, and support Oracle APEX solutions (PL/SQL, JavaScript, HTML, CSS) and other Oracle technologies for Global Payroll Operations.
  2. Partner with Payroll Operations to understand processes for automation/optimization recommend solutions and implement upon management approval.
  3. Provide estimates and communicate delivery timelines manage scope and expectations.
  4. Organize and lead stakeholder meetings/calls coordinate resources to ensure delivery aligns with agreed scope and timelines.
  5. Coordinate testing with relevant teams track and resolve defects to closure.
  6. Create and maintain technical designs, runbooks, and user guides in formats agreed with Global Payroll Operations management keep documentation current.
  7. Track work progress using internal platform and maintain status transparency.
  8. Communicate proactively with management regarding risks, issues, progress, and the department's activities..
  9. Follow secure coding, data privacy, and payroll compliance practices.
  10. Participates in internal and crossfunctional projects actively joins and leads stakeholder calls/meetings to support solutions aligned with Oracle's standards and objectives.
  11. Strong team player: shares knowledge, mentors peers, and provides constructive, respectful feedback supports teammates during releases and incident calls.
  12. Remain open to learning new tools and solutions continuously improve skills and processes.
  13. Perform related duties as assigned by the supervisor to ensure accurate, timely payroll processing.
