As a Business Analysis Associate within JPMorganChase, you will play a pivotal role in driving operational efficiency and strategic initiatives. You will leverage your advanced understanding of data analytics and automation technologies to uncover patterns, analyze complex data sets, and propose innovative solutions. Job responsibilities

  • Oversee endtoend delivery for the Reporting & Analytics team, managing priorities, SLAs, and quality across data products and executive reporting.
  • Deliver adhoc and recurring (daily, weekly, monthly) reporting and develop clear, executiveready presentations that drive action.
  • Perform advanced analytics (data mining, predictive analytics) and structured problem solving to surface drivers, anomalies, and opportunities.
  • Engineer and maintain curated datasets and transformations to support operational initiatives analyze and interpret complex data using advanced analytics to guide strategic decisions.
  • Collaborate with Technology and Operations to define requirements, test, and implement new capabilities aligned to the software delivery lifecycle.
  • Reduce risk and improve resiliency through continuous process improvement, rootcause analysis, and embedding controls within data pipelines and reporting workflows.
  • Utilize automation technologies to optimize processes, reduce manual effort, and shorten cycle times for data ingestion, transformation, and reporting.
  • Translate analysis into clear insights and recommendations align tasks and responsibilities to project objectives for efficient, effective outcomes.
  • Build and maintain compelling dashboards and visualizations to communicate KPIs and trends leverage digital platforms and tools to improve processes and stakeholder engagement.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 4+ years of relevant experience conducting data analysis and interpreting complex datasets proven ability to translate data into business insights.
  • Advanced proficiency in process automation to optimize operations and support business strategies.
  • Strong stakeholder communication and service orientation, with the ability to translate technical findings into business outcomes.
  • Understanding of the software delivery lifecycle and familiarity with industrystandard methodologies (requirements, testing, change management).
  • Undergraduate or master's degree in Business, Finance, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Programming skills in SQL are required, including building performant queries against large, complex datasets.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, macros/VBA, lookups) proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Access, Visio, and Word.
  • Understanding of business process analysis/modeling and data concepts ability to work with large datasets from diverse sources using creative analytical problemsolving.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Domain experience in fraud and anomaly detection, including pattern recognition and outlier analysis.
  • Proficiency querying enterprise databases with SQL and implementing automation solutions to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency.
  • Experience working in an Amazon Web Services environment and familiarity with AWSnative analytics (e.g., Athena).
  • Curiosity and aptitude for developing machine learning solutions to solve business problems.
  • Ability to leverage artificial intelligence and AI tools to enhance analysis, evaluate trends, and deliver actionable insights for strategic decisions.
  • Experience with BI and analytics tools such as Tableau, Alteryx, and Qlik/Qlik Sense to build visualizations and perform statistical analysis.
  • Knowledge of Python, AWS Athena, or other programming languages to support data engineering and analytics workflows.
