Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality CFD simulations to analyze airflow, pollutant dispersion, and thermal distribution.
  • Build CFD models from 3D CAD geometries, applying best practices in meshing and setup.
  • Set up physics models and numerical schemes appropriate for engineering problems.
  • Troubleshoot simulation issues and ensure reliable outputs.
  • Analyze simulation results to extract actionable insights and optimize ventilation system design.
  • Collaborate with engineers to improve car park ventilation design (fan placement, duct sizing, inlet/outlet placement).
  • Conduct iterative simulations to meet required standards for ventilation performance.
  • Lead or contribute to CFD studies related to:
  • Fire and smoke dispersion in underground car parks, tunnels, and stations
  • Pedestrian comfort and air quality modeling
  • Hydraulic modeling for water utility installations
